Dr. Keith Larson selected as Top Dentist of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).

Dr. Keith R. Larson, DMD, PC, Sleep Medicine Dentist was selected as Top Dentist of the Year, by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP), for his outstanding leadership and experience in the field. 

While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, longevity in the field, other affiliations and contributions to their communities.  All honorees are invited to attend the IAOTP’s annual award gala at the end of this year for a night to honor their achievements.

With having over 4 decades of professional experience in Sleep Medicine Dentistry, Dr. Larsen has certainly proven himself as an extraordinary professional, and expert in the field.  Dr. Larsen is a dynamic, results-driven leader who has demonstrated success not only with his private practice in Beaverton, Oregon but with his treatment for obstructive sleep apnea.  He has worked extensively with local physicians to treat sleep disorders, particularly those involving patients who prefer not to use the CPAP method to treat their obstructive sleep apnea.  He is also presently involved in the development of advanced concepts and treatment with oral appliances.

Dr. Larsen received his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the University of Oregon Health & Science School of Dentistry in 1976.  Since graduating, he has completed a number of advanced training courses while practicing as a dentist and he co-founded the first dental sleep study club in Oregon. Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Larsen has been recognized worldwide for his outstanding leadership and commitment to the profession.  In 2018 he is being considered for the Lifetime Achievement Award with the International Association of Top Professionals, and to be featured in TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine.  In 2017 selected as Top Dentist of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals.  In 2016 selected as Top Doctor of the Year with The International Association of HealthCare Professionals and recognized with many Who’s Who’s. Dr. Larsen remains active as a member of the Oregon Dental Association, the American Dental Association, Academy of Sleep Medicine, Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, Former President of the Oregon Christian Dental Society and the Washington County Dental Society. 

Aside from his successful career Dr. Larsen is also a sought after lecturer and speaker.  He frequently speaks to medical and dental groups on topics related to sleep apnea and oral appliance solutions.

Looking back, Dr. Larson attributes his success to his experience, mentors he has had along the way and passion for helping his patients and their families.  He says his work is very gratifying and hopes that others will consider a career in Sleep Medicine Dentistry.  When not working, he enjoys archery, playing chess and spending time with his grandchildren.  For the future, he looks forward to continue to provide excellent medical care for his patients and their families.
