With over a decade of achievements in his field, Dr. Neil is a board certified neurosurgeon and fellowship trained in skull base/cerebrovascular surgery and complex spine surgery, working at the Midwest Neurosurgery Associates, P.A. Dr. Neil’s medical journey began with a Bachelors degree from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City Utah with honors, graduating summa cum laude. He subsequently attended medical school at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York.  He went on to complete his neurosurgery residency at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY which included training in pediatric neurosurgery at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Neil received one year of subspecialty training in complex spine surgery including degenerative spine, revision, deformity, and spine/spinal cord surgery under Dr. Kaushik Das at Westchester Medical Center in New York. Dr. Neil also pursued one year of additional training in skull base and cerebrovascular surgery under Dr. William Couldwell at the University of Utah.

A firm believer in patient education, Dr. Neil said in a statement on his website: “Patients need to have all the information necessary in order to provide valuable input to help us tailor care to their individual situation.
