For someone who has gone through quite a lot in his personal and professional life, Dr. Ed Picardi of South Dakota still remains to uphold his ideals of offering compassionate medical practice to those who need it.

Dr. Picardi, who is a military veteran having served the nation for 13 years, chose to join the military on the same day he got accepted to medical school. When asked about his choice, he revealed he is the belief that everyone should give back to the country for all that it has done to its citizens.

“I believe that all Americans citizens need to devote a part of their lives and be a part of the military to pay back this country for all that this country has given to us,” he said.

After fulfilling his duty to the country, he proceeded to serve his fellow by going into medical practice. Dr. Ed Picardi of South Dakota’s interest in medicine originates from his belief in the sanctity of life.

Armed With This Belief, He Built His Surgical Practice From Scratch

He faced the challenge of having to go in the field banking only on his own capability. He initially did not have any referrals but he overcame the challenge by giving compassionate and reliable service to his clients.

It is this good service that eventually propelled his name into one of the most dependable surgeons in the area. His patients became living testaments of how well he does the work. These patients then relay the information to their family, relatives, friends and any other people they know. This word of mouth established his clientele.

Maintaining Good Client-Relationship

Beyond medicine, Dr. Ed Picardi of South Dakota maintained a good relationship with his clients. They became his friends as well that is why it is he became a regular figure in their household gatherings.

“I have always maintained a close, personal rapport with my patients who know they can trust me, literally with their lives, and their loved-ones, he said. “They know I am not a “money-oriented” physician and make decisions which are in their best interest.”

He added, “My peers and colleagues also realize I am dedicated to my patients and am always willing to assist whenever necessary to the benefit of a patient.”

“They know I have strong beliefs in my Hippocratic Oath to which I abide in all my actions,” Dr. Ed Picardi of South Dakota said.
