With over three decades of achievements in his specialty, Dr. Allin serves as Chairman of Emergency Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center and is board certified in Emergency Medicine, Emergency Medicine Services, and Under Sea & Hyperbaric Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Allin’s medical career began when he received his Medical Degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 1983. He completed and internship at the Louis A. Weiss Memorial Hospital in 1984 and his residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 1986. He is currently affiliated with University of Kansas Health System.

A fellow of the American College of Emergency Medicine (ACEP), Dr. Allin’s research has been published numerous times and he has received many honors, including a 2014 Medical Director Award by NASCAR, where he served as Medical Director of the Kansas Hospital Infield Care Center at Kansas Speedway since 2001. 

Dr. Allin has dedicated his life to providing the highest standard of quality and compassionate care to his patients. For excellence in patient care and for his knowledge & expertise, he has been chosen to represent his field as a Patient Preferred Physician, 2018.
