Consulting Radiologists LTD (CRL) Expands to Serve Larger Geographic Location

Consulting Radiologists LTD, a physician-owned practice located in the greater Twin Cities area, has recently expanded their radiology service locations to encompass 26 on-site locations. In addition, they have grown to employ 75 radiologists that lead a robust teleradiology business.

These locations are broad and include flagship hospital, Abbott-Northwestern, as well as multiple regional hospitals in Duluth, Hutchinson, Cambridge, Shakopee and Waconia. CRL also provides services at many smaller hospitals in places such as New Ulm, Faribault, Northfield, Mora and Glencoe, and has over 25 teleradiology customers across a five-state area in the upper Midwest.

Thanks to their commitment to growth and diversification, CRL has brought many benefits to patients and hospital partners in the upper Midwest region. The group now provides hospital partners, especially those in underserved areas, with focused coverage, as well as procedural and on-site capabilities. 

Beyond the usual radiology services, CRL has also expanded its revenue stream by providing additional services to clients, such as billing, transcription and outside quality assurance reviews.
