CLEVELAND, TX - 07/14/2017 (PRESS RELEASE JET)

Cleveland ISD is one of the fastest-growing school districts in the Houston area. Over the past 2.5 years, the district’s enrollment has skyrocketed by over 1,200 students, transforming from a rural community to a sprawling suburb.

The district is addressing the rapid growth with new schools, faculty, and a first-class synthetic turf field at Indian Stadium.

After careful study, Cleveland ISD chose Symmetry Turf based in Mount Pleasant, TX as the contractor and turf provider for their stadium. Symmetry will be installing its ultra high-quality Genesis turf at Indian Stadium. Genesis turf has some of the highest tuft-bind ratings in the industry and during Lisport testing it has shown no signs of splitting at 150,000 cycles.

“After thorough research of the turf industry, Cleveland ISD chose Symmetry Turf,” stated CISD superintendent, Dr. Darrell Myers. “This decision was not only made on the quality of the turf product, but also on the fact that such a venture is a partnership with the vendor. We discovered that Symmetry Turf’s values and servant-leadership attitude mirrored those that CISD works to provide for our community.”

The new field is currently under construction and will be ready in time for Cleveland’s football team when the players return for practice in early August.

Symmetry is a turn-key sports construction company that specializes in building athletic facilities, sports fields, and tracks for schools, professional stadiums, and municipalities throughout the country.
