Chinese media investor, Un Nouveau Jour, makes offer to acquire Johnny Boy Records of London and it's new reality television affiliate based in Cyprus
Un Nouveau Jour, the privately held finance company, based out of China, announced on Monday 15th October that they had made a offer to acquire the UK company, Johnny Boy Records and Entertainment for an undisclosed seven figure sum.
According to Zhan Chan, a representative of Un Nouveau Jour- “ we are very excited about the acquisition of both the record company and the reality television show, both under the flag of Johnny Boy Records and Entertainment”
Zhan Chan also confirmed that the deal will close on the 12th of November 2018
John Ravenhall, Music CEOJohnny Boy Records and Entertainment was the brainchild of Britsh music icon, John Ravenhall, who has worked with Sting, Kool and the Gang, Paul McCartney and Bronski Beat and Pat Andrew, former executive of Spelling Entertainment and also former longtime personal assistant of the famed Hollywood studio owner, Sydney Korshak.
The show is being produced by Wanda-Halcyon Television, Memphis Writers Partners and New Street Pictures of Pinewood Studios in the United Kindom.

It was also announced in October that beauty industry guru, Philip Sambanidis will be added to the Board of Directors following the acquisition of Johnny Boy Records and Entertainment.
