Carolyn Rubin selected as Top Healthcare Executive of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP)

Carolyn M. Rubin, CRCR, Executive Director of the John Maxwell Team and M&A Integration Senior Director for US Anesthesia Partners Inc was just recently selected as Top Healthcare Executive of the Year for 2019 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the industry.  

While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. With over 25 years of professional experience in the healthcare industry, Carolyn has certainly proven herself as an accomplished professional and expert in the field.  As a dynamic, results-driven leader, Carolyn has demonstrated success not only as Executive Director of the John Maxwell Team and M&A Integration Senior Director for US Anesthesia Partners, but in every prior position that she has served. Carolyn’s impressive repertoire of prior roles have included, Practice Administrator for Texas Oncology, Director Reimbursement Support Services for McKesson Specialty Health, Vice President Revenue Cycle Innovations for Anthelio Healthcare Solutions, Instructor for Alegent Health School of Medical Assisting, Adjunct Faculty at Omaha College Health Careers, Instructor for AAPC Coding Certification Program at Iowa Western Community College, and Director of Revenue Cycle Management for Dallas Nephrology Associates.  Carolyn’s key responsibilities include but are not limited to: growing and driving favorable patient and financial outcomes, a HFMA Certified Revenue Cycle Representative with proven success at implementing operations and monitoring initiatives to enable organizational compliance with applicable CMS, federal and state regulations, end-to-end Revenue Cycle optimization, Certified trainer and Speaker in Leadership Development, Project Management, Physician Education and Engagement, Team Development and Training.  Carolyn has a varied background so she is able to provide support in a multitude of ways.

Throughout her illustrious career Carolyn has received awards, accolades and has been recognized worldwide for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the profession. For 2019 she is being considered for a feature in TIP (Top Industry Professional) Magazine and was selected as Top Healthcare Executive of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).  She was featured in Top 101 Industry Experts Publication, appeared on Breaking It Down With Frank Mackay, and was on CUTV News Radio. For 2016 she was featured in Women of Distinction Magazine and Talk Nation Magazine.  For 2013 she was selected as VIP Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women and became a Delegate for the IWLA.  In 2009 she was awarded the US Oncology Customer Service Award.

Looking back, Carolyn attributes her success to her perseverance, mentors she has had along the way, and staying passionate in all her business endeavors.  When not working, she enjoys traveling, dancing, the arts and spending time with her family. Her and her husband Ron have five wonderful children and ten grandchildren. For the future, she hopes to continue to make a difference in people’s lives any way that she can.
