Carlo Parodi Launches Crowdfunding Campaign to Open The World’s First Giacomo Casanova Museum

First of its kind museum and experiences celebrates the life of one Europe’s first great adventurers with emphasis on his artistic talent.

When the name “Casanova” comes to mind it conjures a lover of woman, a romantic and sometimes a plain and simple womanizer.Giacomo Casanova was that but so much more. This 18^th century author, poet, artist and adventurer had many interests and passions that run the full spectrum of human emotion.

Carlo Parodi, the president of the Giacomo Casanova Foundation, wants to celebrate the life of this 18^th century Venetian far beyond his legendary romantic exploits to include his often overlooked contributions to literature in that he penned 20 separate works. He was a true adventurer, traveling across Europe from end to end in search of fortune, seeking out the most prominent people of his time to help further his own efforts.

During his life he wore many hats as a lawyer, clergyman, military officer, violinist, con man, pimp, gourmand, dancer, businessman, diplomat, spy, politician, medic, mathematician, social philosopher, cabalist, playwright and so much more,

The Giacomo Casanova Museum and  Experience will be the first museum dedicated to this remarkable man and located in the city of his birth and the city he left his spirit – Venice, Italy. Mr. Parodi and his team decided to build a museum AND experience because it won't be just a museum. Visitors will be able to discover much more than just paintings, memorabilia and more; it will be a unique experience enriched with technology allowing museum-goers a unique opportunity to revive the romantic adventures of Giacomo Casanova, delivering an immersive experience of actually walking in the shoes of this eclectic man.

Giacomo Casanova has loved and has been loved like no other man in history. That's why the Giacomo Casanova Foundation has created a special experience to deliver the "loved letters" and give museum guests a meaningful interactive experience.

Beyond the cultural significance, the Giacomo Casanova museum and experience will help local businesses in Venice to develop tourism and expand job opportunities in Venice.  The Mayor of Venice himself was incredibly excited about this project and he is currently working towards its complete realization with Mr. Parodi and his staff.
