CENTENNIAL, CO - 08/29/2019 (PRESS RELEASE JET)
Briotix Health, the industry-leading provider of workforce performance optimization solutions, will deliver a training session at the 2019 Voluntary Protection Programs Participants’ Association National Symposium that will highlight how simple musculoskeletal injuries can lead to expensive out-of-work injuries that cost both the employee and company money.
Tony Kaczkowski, Chief Strategy Officer for Briotix health, will lead the session, Show Me the Money: Understanding the Economics of Simple Sprains, Strains, and Tears on Thursday, August 29, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. During the presentation, attendees will learn the common risk factors of common musculoskeletal disorders and the economic costs of those simple strains and sprains. Additionally, attendees will learn how to create a game plan to continually drive for an injury-free work environment.
“Research indicates nearly 40% of all injuries with days away from work are due to musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) including sprains, strains, and tears,” said Tony. “In this session, we will discuss how proactively addressing common MSD injuries improves employee health and reduces workers’ compensation and medical costs for companies.”
Conference attendees are encouraged to visit Tony and the rest of the Briotix Health team at booth #835 to learn about how Briotix Health’s injury prevention tools leverage technology in a purposeful way to reduce the individual and organizational costs of musculoskeletal disorders.
