CENTENNIAL, CO - 11/28/2018 (PRESS RELEASE JET)
Briotix Health, the industry’s leading provider of workforce performance optimization solutions, will participate in a panel discussion at the 2018 National Workers’ Compensation and Disability Conference with UNUM and Norton Healthcare. The panel will discuss a Briotix Health Industrial Sports Medicine pilot program which demonstrated a significant reduction in disability durations containing costs and optimizing employee’s engagement.
Bob Patterson, Executive Vice President and Co-Founder of Briotix Health, will serve on the panel during the session Case Study for Shortening Disability Durations with On-Site Resources on December 5, 2018, at 2:30 p.m. Also participating on the panel is Derek Stern from Unum Workforce Solutions and Allison Ledford from Norton Healthcare.
In this panel discussion, panelists will examine the critical components of a successful return-to-work program and explain how to integrate supportive onsite resources into a company’s existing practices. Additionally, panel participants will share pilot results that support the business case for the coupling of the onsite duration management resource with disability and injury prevention efforts.
“The initial phase of the study has shown that with an increased focus on applying best practices in ergonomics, accommodations, and psychosocial support, more than 1,200 lost workdays were avoided delivering Norton Healthcare an ROI of nearly 4:1,” said Patterson. “We are looking forward to sharing our results and discussing how best to cultivate a culture of change to maximize the use of onsite resources and generate the biggest savings.”
Conference attendees are encouraged to visit Bob and the rest of the Briotix Health team at booth #6333 to learn about how Briotix Health’s Industrial Sports Medicine™ tools leverage early discomfort management solutions in a purposeful way to reduce the individual and organizational costs of musculoskeletal disorders.
