Bespoke Yacht Charter Confirms Exceptional Demand For MIPIM Cannes

MIPIM Cannes, set to run from 14 to 17 March 2017 at the Palais des Festivals, will unite 23,000 delegates from over 90 countries for the world’s leading property market. Held over four days, MIPIM Cannes 2017 will focus on the theme 'A New Deal for Real Estate'.

Alexander Coles, Senior Charter Broker and CEO at Bespoke Yacht Charter, has confirmed that MIPIM Cannes 2017 is already proving popular for corporate yacht charter bookings from international property companies.

Alexander says, "Yacht charters at MIPIM have gone from strength to strength over the years. Each year, more and more companies are wanting to charter yachts at the event. The port is usually fully booked by the December preceding the event and due to the number of repeat bookings every year, it is absolutely essential for companies wanting to charter at MIPIM to have chosen their yacht and submitted the berth application to the Port of Cannes at least six months in advance of the event.

We are also seeing an increase in the size of yachts that companies are choosing to charter, many started of with us by chartering 25m yachts and have now moved up to much larger vessels due to the great entertaining options these larger yachts provide. Because MIPIM takes place in March, many yachts are either having work done in the shipyard or have crossed to the Caribbean for the winter season. Therefore the number of yachts on offer for MIPIM charters is limited and this makes it very important to plan well ahead in order to be able to find the right yacht.”

The proximity of Vieux Port to the Palais des Festivals allows MIPIM yacht charter clients to maximise the location for their branding, meetings and on board entertainment without a need for travel between venues.
