Authorized Building Permits For A First Oceanfront Hotel Resort In Isla Aguada - Sabancuy beach

The New Beach Holiday Destination: Playa Mundo Maya is underway in Sabancuy, Campeche State, Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico

Mexico's environment ministry SEMARNAT in Campeche has authorized the first hotel resort to be built in the upcoming eco-touristic hotel zone, Playa Mundo Maya.

Playa Mundo Maya is owned and designed by The Global Property Service Group (GPS-Group). The Ah Kanan eco-resort is the first hotel to be built on the new hotel zone between the towns of Isla Aguada and Sabancuy by the Federal Highway Nr. 180, in Ciudad del Carmen, in the State of Campeche. According to the master plan, the rest of the units will be built in two phases. Several eco-hotel projects are planned to follow in Playa Mundo Maya and responsible international hotel corporations are expecting their projects to be evaluated during the following year of 2020. The corporation is still offering oceanfront lots at affordable prices. The owner financing is to invite new hotels and service providers to be a part of this new eco-touristic hotspot. Several well-known international and national hotel companies have presented their interest to invest in the area. Heavy investing is also expected by hotel owners from Tulum and Playa Del Carmen. Many lots are already bought or reserved by the same investors who experienced the boom in Riviera Maya.
