Arkansas-Based Motorcycle dealer first in nation to use Virtual Reality in their Sales process

Dealer listens to consumers, decides to offer virtual reality viewers to customers before they buy and it’s a big hit!

Little Rock, Arkansas. April 18, 2017. Doug Reynolds Suzuki in Little Rock, Arkansas (www.dougreynoldssuzuki.com) announced today they are introducing virtual reality into their sales process for selling vehicles with a free giveaway of a Virtual Reality viewer.

In business over 50 years, Doug Reynolds Suzuki is leading the way in utilizing Virtual Reality in marketing their purchasing options.

“Our demographic is very interested in the aspects of virtual reality so we thought we would introduce this new technology to get to know us better,” said Terri Reynolds, Customer Relations of Doug Reynolds Suzuki.

“As part of our full-service sales program, anyone who visits the dealership and becomes credit approved will get to experience the thrill of their new vehicle through a custom-designed virtual reality viewer,” added Reynolds. A virtual reality video or photograph made on the spot from Reynold’s personnel will be made from the point of view of the rider and sent via email or text to the viewer at that moment. Other pre-made videos can also be sent on the fly to the potential buyer for their review, posted on social media or shared with others that have a virtual reality viewer.

A search for a similar offering of virtual reality viewers from other national motorcycle dealerships indicate none are utilizing virtual reality as part of their sales process.

Virtual reality has grown dramatically in the past several years and recipients of the viewers can watch other videos, movies, etc., that are not related to the motorcycle industry. Estimates indicate there are more than 35,000 virtual reality videos on the web now with more being added daily.

“We are excited to bring this new technology to the Little Rock marketplace and be at the forefront of merging virtual reality with the marketing of our products,” added Reynolds. “Future developments include offering Augmented Reality which will actually show in real time how a motorcycle or UTV will look in someone’s garage or driveway,” he added.
