Arizona Hotel Supports Local Tourism Through Partnerships

The Ramada Kingman Hotel and Resort in Kingman Arizona has initiated partnerships to support community development and market the property, and City of Kingman internationally.  

By partnering with Promote Kingman, Ramada Kingman provides support to a community development initiative and garners international marketing through the organizations international network that includes Route 66 associations in Europe, Asia, and Australia.  

Ramada Kingman and Promote Kingman are also partnering with internationally acclaimed author Jim Hinckley to sponsor development of promotional videos that incorporate historic images provided by the Mohave Museum of History & Arts. The video series will be provided to Kingman area tourism, and the chamber of commerce, for utilization in area marketing.

Canyon 66, Ramada Kingman’s lounge and restaurant, is the venue for a weekly Facebook live community calendar event hosted by Jim Hinckley, and a sponsor of the weekly Jim Hinckley’s America Facebook live program, both of which are Promote Kingman projects. The Friday morning program provides a platform for the interactive interview of community and business leaders with an international audience.

The linking of international marketing with support for community development and promotional initiatives is a cornerstone of Ramada Kingman, and the owners vision for transforming an historic hotel property into a full-service resort. Examples include hosting the Route 66 Association of Kingman reception for Dries Bessels, president of the Dutch Route 66 Association, during induction ceremonies for the Route 66 Walk of Fame, custom presentations on area history for a New Zealand based tour company, and hosting the president of the Czech Route 66 Association during filming of a documentary about bicycling Route 66.
