Annette Hadley selected as Top Creative Entrepreneur of the Year by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP)

Annette Hadley, Owner & Founder of Abundance Art LLC, was selected as Top Creative Entrepreneur of the Year for 2018 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the industry. 

While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. Before founding Abundance Art, Annette’s impressive repertoire of roles includes Healthcare Informatics Clinical Consultant with the J2 Group; Women’s Health Project Analyst at Sidra Medical Center, Doha, Qatar; Functional and Clinical Architect, Solution/Program Manager and Strategist at Cerner Corporation, Kansas City and Cerner Ltd, London, UK; Perioperative Healthcare Informatics Team Lead at Health Midwest, Kansas City; and twenty years before that as a Perioperative Staff Nurse and Staff Development Coordinator.

Annette gives back to the world through local and international volunteer work. Most recently, she provides creativity enrichment programs to underserved school aged children in Kansas City through The Learning Club. She has traveled to India where she undertook volunteer work assignments in New Delhi, at the Saint Mother Theresa’s Missionaries of Charity’s Prem Daan (“Give Love”) home for mentally disabled and destitute women and men, and in Dharamshala, where she taught basic computer skills to a local women’s empowerment group. She also undertook a volunteer assignment in Cartago, Costa Rica assisting in a day care center.

Annette received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Johnson County Community College in 1978. Throughout her illustrious career Annette has received awards, accolades and has been recognized worldwide for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the profession. For 2019 she is being considered for a feature in TIP (Top Industry Professional) Magazine and for the Top Female Executive Award by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).  For 2018 she was selected as Top Creative Entrepreneur of the Year by IAOTP. She was inducted into the NAPW (National Association of Professional Women, now IAW – International Association of Women) VIP Woman of the Year circle 2017-2018, and most recently awarded Pinnacle membership in Continental Who’s Who ("Dedicated to the Recognition of Excellence").

Looking back, Annette attributes her success to her faith, varied life experiences, perseverance, courage, trauma recovery therapist, business coach and mentors she has had along the way, and staying passionate and positive in all her endeavors. When not working, she enjoys traveling and exploring internationally.

Moving forward, Annette intends to grow her business, write books, speak and serve others, increasing public awareness around about trauma and the powerfully healing role of creativity. She sees a TEDx talk in her future.
