Dr. David Bass selected as Top Doctor of the Year in Gastroenterology by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).

Dr. David Bass was selected as Top Doctor of the Year in Gastroenterology for 2017 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP), for his outstanding leadership and commitment to the field. 

While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, longevity in the field, other affiliations and contributions to their communities.  All honorees are invited to attend the IAOTP’s annual award gala at the end of this year for a night to honor their achievements.

With having over 2 decades of professional experience in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology, Dr. Bass has certainly proven himself as an extraordinary professional, and expert in the field.  Dr. Bass is a dynamic, results-driven leader who has demonstrated success not only with his private practice but also with Digestive Health Associates of Texas, P.A., which serves the Dallas Fort Worth, Texas area but also with his satellite office in Keller that serves the Keller and Alliance areas of Texas.  Dr. Bass is also affiliated with Medical City North Hills and North Richland Hills Endoscopy Center.  He specializes in Gastroenterology and high quality, cost-effective patient care.  Dr. Bass received his M.D. from the University of Mysore in India, his residency from St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, New York and his fellowship in Gastroenterology at Strong Memorial Hospital/Tulane University.  He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Bass has been recognized worldwide for his outstanding leadership and commitment to the profession.  In 2000, he was named Physician of the Year and Top Doctor from Dallas Fort Worth Magazine.  In 2012 he received a Patients Choice Award for Most Compassionate Doctor.  In 2016 selected as Top Doctor of the Year with The Global Who’s Who.  For 2017 named Top Doctor of the Year in Gastroenterology by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) and he is being considered to be featured in TIP (Top Industry Professional Magazine) for 2018 and is also being considered for their Lifetime Achievement Award. Dr. Bass remains active as a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, and is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Gastroenterology, Texas Medical Association, American Medical Association, Liver Foundation, Tarrant County Medical Society, the Texas Society of Gastroenterology & Endoscopy, and ASGE (American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy).
