2019 World Congress Keynote Speakers Announced by the International Federation of Fertility Societies

The International Federation of Fertility Societies (IFFS) and its 2019 World Congress Scientific Committee continue to release programme and event information related to its 23rd IFFS World Congress, being held April 11-14, 2019 in Shanghai, China. Most recently, the organization announced its featured keynote speakers who will be attending and presenting at the Congress. Themed "Transforming the Frontiers of Human Reproduction," the Congress will highlight contributions from over 60 renowned international faculty-some of whom are listed below- focusing on issues within the fertility field.
 

“Our speakers are carefully selected to ensure that the Congress provides the most recent and cutting-edge education to practitioners globally,” said Richard Kennedy, IFFS President. “All of those presenting are well-known and respected within their field and offer the fertility community a unique opportunity to learn how their work and research is transforming human reproduction.”

Featured keynote speakers include:

  • Mats Bräanström, MD, PhD of the University of Gothenburg, Sweden
  • Hilary Critchley, MD of the University of Edinburgh, Scotland
  • Hans Evers, MD, PhD of Maastricht University, The Netherlands
  • Linda Giudice, MD, PhD of the University of California - San Francisco, United States
  • Katsuhiko Hayashi, PhD of Kyushu University, Japan
  • Dennis Lo, MD, PhD of Chinese University of Hong Kong, China
  • Jie Qiao, MD, PhD of Peking University Third Hospital, China
  • Lesley Regan, MD of Imperial College London, United Kingdom 
  • Carlos Simon, MD, PhD of the University of Valencia, Spain

Last month, the Congress formally announced the publication of its 2019 World Congress Programme and Call for Abstracts, encouraging those within the field to submit their topics, research and abstracts for consideration.
 

The 2019 World Congress will examine research and development on local, regional and international levels. The World Congress is specially created for any person within the reproductive healthcare industry. The 2019 World Congress is expected to draw over 4,000 international delegates.
