Zumbro River Brand Names James Fischer President; Kris Schaefer Director QA

Zumbro River Brand, Inc. today announced the promotion of James Fischer to President of the company.  Jim joined ZRB in 2006 as Executive Vice President and has led company operations at both the Albert Lea and Owatonna facilities through a decade of impressive growth. His management accomplishments include the acquisition of the Albert Lea Facility in 2006, 2 plant expansions, installation of multiple extrusion and agglomeration systems, and year-over-year growth of both sales and number of employees.  Jim has extensive Food Industry management, process and quality assurance experience at IFP, Inc., Protient, Inc., and ZRB.  Jim brings to his new position his strategic vision and a proven ability to implement plans and to work successfully with customers, vendors, employees, and regulatory parties.

Zumbro River Brand is also pleased to announce the promotion of Kris Schaefer to Director of Quality Assurance.  Kris joined ZRB in 2008 as the Quality Assurance Manager and has been involved in policy development, regulatory audits, kosher, SQF and other certifications, customer auditing, ongoing product quality standards, new product coordinator and employee training.  Kris brings her talent, training and food industry experience to her new role where she will oversee the company policies and practices to assure conformance to client and industry standards.
