Youfit® General Manager Returns to Crush Competition on WWE® Smackdown® Live

Wrestling fans worldwide were treated to a special comeback in August with the return of The Headbangers - former recipients of the WWE World Tag Team Championship belt, stepping foot into the ring for the first time in over 15 years. After an overwhelmingly positive welcome, Thrasher – a now Youfit® Health Club General Manager by day - and his partner Mosh have been reinvited to partake in yet another match on WWE®’s Smackdown® Live at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The event will be televised live on the “USA Network” at 8 p.m. EST.

“Getting back into the ring was an incredible experience. Joining Youfit after my injury surrounded by a supportive team got me to where I am now and kept me healthy and able to continue battling in front of millions”, Thrasher said. “I hope that my dreams and goals will continue to inspire others. My story proves that drive and dedication can help you succeed and get back in the ‘ring.’”

Known by his staff as Glenn Ruth, the wrestler first became a Youfit member and visited the facility nearly every day, reclaiming his passion for a better, healthier lifestyle.  He eventually knocked off more than 70 pounds on his way to returning to peak form.  Ruth recognized Youfit Health Clubs as an instrumental piece to his overall recovery, and went on to manage his own club to bring similar possibilities to others.
