Vinod Gupta to be Honored by Chief Minister of UP India on January 4, 2017

The Government of Uttar Pradesh has selected Vinod Gupta for the prestigious UP Pravasi Bhartiya Sammaan 2017. This award is given to Pravasis from Uttar Pradesh who have excelled in their field of work and brought laurels to both their country of residence and origin.  Mr Akhilesh Yadav, Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh will inaugurate the Uttar Pradesh Pravasi Divas 2017.

The award recognizes the contribution that Uttar Pradesh brethren have made to the growth of the Country.  The Uttar Pradesh government is proud of both domestic and international pravasis and have organized a second edition of Uttar Pradesh Pravasi Divas from January 4-6, 2017 at the Hotel Taj Vivanta, Gomti Nagar in Lucknow Uttar Pradesh to celebrate these contributions.  The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is associated with Uttar Pradesh Pravasi Divas 2017 as its National Partner. 

During the event, the Uttar Pradesh Pravasi Divas will offer a platform to discuss various opportunities for growth available in Uttar Pradesh and ways to maximize them and will also showcase how India’s largest state offers maximum opportunities in various sectors.

Diaspora has always been a source of strength and pride for our country and there have been many concerted efforts by governments both at Central and State levels to forge a stronger bond with our community abroad.  

The Government of Uttar Pradesh is also mindful of the contribution of our brethren tracing their roots in Uttar Pradesh have made to the growth of our Country.  We are proud of both domestic and internation pravasis and to celebrate their growth, we are organizing second edition of Uttar Pradesh Pravasi Divas from 4-6 January 2017 in Lucknow Uttar Pradesh.  The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is associated with Uttar Pradesh Pravasi Divas 2017 as its National Partner.
