Trips To Discover Reveals 2017’s Top U.S. Cities to Visit for Your Best Odds of Meeting Singles

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and while couples plan romantic getaways, singles may go searching for a soul mate. That’s why Trips To Discover, a digital travel magazine, released its 2017 list of the cities in each state with the best odds of meeting singles.

Finding that special someone can be difficult, but as it turns out, you may have been looking for love in all the wrong places — geographically speaking. Proximity to your dating prospects can be a key factor in increasing your odds of meeting Mr. or Mrs. Right. So we used the latest marital status data from the U.S. Census Bureau for all 50 states and the District of Columbia to find the cities in each state with the highest percentage of singles based on population, and then ranked them nationwide.

“Many other geographic singles studies have used ranking methodologies that incorporate aspects such as transportation and nightlife, but we wanted to let the numbers speak for themselves” said Dayne Ford, CEO of Trips To Discover. “We have produced a visualization of the actual data and the results are really interesting.”
