LAS VEGAS, NV - 3/23/2016 (PRESS RELEASE JET) -- Nominees for the highly anticipated Silver State Latino Awards were announced earlier this month on the Awards Facebook page, silverstateawards, as part of nine upcoming awards for the 2016 calendar year by Silver State Latino Awards Creator, Producer & Director Paolo Sadri, President of TMG Entertainment Network. The Silver State Latino Awards are presented by exclusive media sponsor Entravision Communications Corporation, owner and operator of KINC-TV Channel 15 Univision Las Vegas, NV.

Two hundred prominent Las Vegas leaders will join to honor and recognize excellence and achievements by Latino individuals and companies in contributions to the state of Nevada. The Silver State Latino Awards are the only on stage production awards presentation of its kind that are supported by top political leaders in Nevada.

“The Latino Awards, in collaboration with Entravision, are the 15^th edition of the Silver State Awards and 2^nd Latino Awards presented in the Spanish language, ‘The True People’s Choice award’ in Nevada”, said Sadri.  “We at TMG Entertainment are excited to honor and recognize the Best of the Best in Nevada since 2013.” 

Voting for the Silver State Latino Awards is currently underway and the winners will be announced during the awards ceremony on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino. The 2016 Silver State Latino Awards will be hosted by Rosario Grajales and Acelyn Vega.

In addition to voting categories, up to six Honorary Awards including, “William Andrews Clark - Lifetime Achievement Award,” “Jim Rogers - Spirit of Education Award,” “Leadership Award’ & “Humanitarian Award,” are presented to individuals for their outstanding contribution to Nevada. Previous Honorary Recipient/s include Governor Bob Miller, Senator Harry Reid, Senator Dean Heller, Senator Richard Bryan, Commissioner Susan Brager, Mayor Jan Jones and Philanthropist Jim Rogers, among others.

No fees, purchases or payments of any kind are required to vote, to be nominated, or to win the Silver State Awards. Tickets to the awards are available on the awards Facebook page at silverstateawards and through the award beneficiary, The Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada.

Silver State Awards Beneficiaries - SSA donates 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales to local charities in Nevada. This year Latino Awards will benefit The Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, celebrating its 75^th anniversary of serving the community.
