The First Royal Drag Family of Maryland Coronation

The First Royal Family of Maryland will officially kick off at a coronation event crowning 22 family members. The event is to be held on June 10, 2016 at the Essex Moose Lodge.

“After years of working together as a group, I’m excited to host our first coronation, marking the official start of the Royal Drag Family of Maryland. As a family, we are looking forward to opportunity to help our extended family in the greater LGBTQIA-Z community via charitable donations,” says her Majesty Coco Wilson Carrington.

His Majesty, Shammy Wilson Carrington, goes on to say, “for a while now, we have seen our community become increasingly distant. The goal of the First Royal Drag Family of Maryland is to foster the reunification of our community. By helping our own, we are ensuring that our children and children’s children can sustain and thrive because of our hard work today.”

The coronation celebration will begin with a cocktail hour at 7:00 PM, with a $10 cover charge. The show starts promptly at 8:00 PM.

About the First Royal Drag Family of Maryland

The First Royal Drag Family of Maryland is completely a charity based organization.  The organization will be giving back to others who help the LGBTQIA-Z community, in the Maryland area.  As The First Royal Drag Family of Maryland grows, they anticipate expanding their charity services in order to reach others in additional states.  The First Royal Drag Family of Maryland will help unify the community as a family like the "Stonewall Days” of yesteryear.
