Project Thank You Hosts 2nd Annual Family Fun Fair to Support Military, Veterans & their Families!

SACRAMENTO, CA - 3/25/2016 (PRESS RELEASE JET) -- Project Thank You, a nonprofit organization devoted to Military Personnel, Veterans & their Families, is hosting their 2^nd Annual Family Fun Fair May 20^th- 22^nd at the Italian Picnic Grounds in Sutter Creek, CA. All donations and revenue will go toward services including Hero Boxes (care packages) to the men and women on the front lines, fishing, hiking, climbing, yoga & mindfulness classes, retreats, family camping trips and more.

The event will feature a Dinner/ Dance & Silent Auction, Mediterranean “Farm to Fair” Feast with Award Winning Maria Behm and her Dawn Riders on Saturday Night from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.

Join us for arts and crafts, vendors, music, food, flea market, entertainment, an appraisal booth and more. Offering free admission, free kid zone, free mini-wellness classes & free parking. Friday night opening ceremonies and karaoke begin at 6pm. Sunday Bingo with ACRA from 11:30am to 3:30pm. Gates open Friday from 6pm to 9:30pm, Saturday from 8am to 7pm & Sunday from 8am to 4pm.

About Project Thank You

Since 2008, this northern California based 501c3 organization has served over 13,750 men and women on the frontlines.  In 2013 they amended their mission statement to include helping veterans reintegrate back into civilian life with nature based activities and adventures free of charge. With Military forces at less than 1% of our population, the toll on the warriors is alarming. Now that men and women are serving multiple tours the morale has fallen and the percentage of PTS along with the Suicide rate has increased exponentially. Through the hero box program and providing nature based activities we support our brothers and sisters overseas and at home. By offering different modalities of wellness, our goal is to encourage individuals and families to reconnect while deepening relationships within and with others.
