Arrest SOS is a startup technology company providing an innovative smartphone tool linking subscribers with lawyers and bail bond agents. The current rollout provides coverage for arrests in all ZIP codes in six counties in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas. The coverage will eventually expand to all of Texas followed by a nationwide rollout.

If a potential arrest is anticipated, the user activates the app by tapping the app icon, followed by pushing the SOS button that appears on the screen. [Most people don't realize that phone access is usually not permitted while engaged with law enforcement, so whether they have an attorney or a friend to call, they won't be able to until they've been in jail for a while]. A message is immediately sent to a designated attorney and bail bond agent for the ZIP code of the arrest. The bail process begins before they ever get to jail. If not arrested, they get to use their phone again and will see a screen on the phone that enables them to cancel the process.
