EAST PROVIDENCE, RI - 08/30/2016 (PRESS RELEASE JET)

ParsonsKellogg, a Top-40 corporate promotional products company, is proud to announce that it has become a member of One Percent for the Planet, a global movement of more than 1,200 companies in 48 countries who donate at least 1% of annual sales to environmental organizations committed to sustainability initiatives worldwide.

ParsonsKellogg will donate 1% of the annual sales from its extensive line of Patagonia custom corporate apparel to this environmental movement, which aims to save land, protect forests, rivers and oceans, make agricultural and energy production more sustainable and remove toxins from the environment. Patagonia’s founder, Yvon Chouinard, launched One Percent for the Planet along with Craig Mathews, owner of Blue Ribbon Flies, in 2002.

"Joining this effort is a natural fit for us, based on our shared values with Patagonia and our commitment to green initiatives in our daily operations, including our full embrace of clean energy with a switch to solar power by the end of 2016,” said Tom Kellogg, founder of ParsonsKellogg.

Patagonia is one of several premium brands to which ParsonsKellogg offers exclusive direct access, affording corporate clients access to items they cannot find elsewhere at the most competitive prices.
