ORCA invited to speak at SYSCO-CHARLOTTE OPEN HOUSE

Paul Sofsky, CEO of Orca Inventory & Ordering was invited to speak at the Sysco Open House customer event at the Sysco-Charlotte headquarters in North Carolina to introduce Orca’s advanced yet simple inventory and ordering application.  Another Sysco event in Cleveland, OH has been schedule in June and will also showcase Orca.

Paul Sofsky said “We continue to enjoy the enthusiasm Sysco has shown for Orca and the many customer referrals we have been receiving from a number of Sysco divisions and were currently working on additional application processes to further our relationship.”

Mr. Sofsky further elaborated by indicating that Sysco and Orca are in the final testing stages of a complete electronic (EDI) integration that will provide Sysco/Orca customers a seamless inventory system that will electronically submit purchase orders to and receive invoices from Sysco while integrating with the customer’s accounting system.  

"A simple to use advanced ordering and budgeting systems with a multitude of functionalities built into one application, including accounting integration and soon to implemented Sysco integration has been something the restaurant industry has been looking for.  Partial applications that cause customers to manually input restaurant data or that don't provide full integration with their front of the house POS and back end accounting software has been an industry wide shortcoming" Paul S said. We created solutions to these shortcomings and incorporated our 20+ years in the restaurant industry to create a simple yet complete system that restaurants from single units to multi-units can adapt to within hours not weeks.

Mr. Sofsky added that Orca’s utility patent protecting Orca’s unique logic and supporting algorithms has received its formal publication notice from the USPTO and is awaiting final patent approval. “We think were well positioned to become the industry standard and look forward to serving our customers and significantly contributing to their success".
