New Tool Revolutionizes the Hiring Process for Real Estate Brokers

BrokerFire.com launchesd earlier this month as the first job search website designed specifically for Realtors and Real Estate brokers. This free new real estate job board allows current and newly-licensed real estate agents and property management professionals to easily search for available positions with area brokerages, and also lets Brokers quickly and simply post available job openings with a few clicks.

Unlike other job boards that focus on the corporate world of salaries, past positions and resumes, BrokerFire.com was built with the real estate professional in mind. Founded by Christian Adams, who is a partner in multiple real estate brokerages and property management companies throughout Texas, the site started off as a local solution to an ongoing problem that he saw in his recruiting efforts.

“I'm a partner in these two amazing real estate companies that offer a lot to our agents - in fact, our average agent's first year revenue is about double the national average. But we were finding it very hard to recruit quality talent because there was no level playing field. Larger real estate brokerages have professional recruiters who work full-time to recruit new agents, but for a lot of smaller independent brokerages such as ours this just isn't feasible. What we were looking for was something where we could show potential hires what we had to offer. Somewhere agents could actually compare the benefits of one brokerage over another without any bias. For an established agent., a big brokerage with higher monthly fees but better commission splits might be a good option, but for a newly-licensed agent they're going to be looking for help with business development, leads, phone time and training etc. Unfortunately nothing like that existed – so we decided to build it ourselves.”

And that's what they did. Anybody can sign up for a free account on BrokerFire.com, although membership for Brokers and anyone looking to post available positions, while free, does require real estate license verification at the state level. There's also the option for agents to remain completely anonymous while browsing job postings or requesting more information – an important part of the design that other sites simply didn't seem to offer.

“There are over 80,000 brokerages in the US, and I guarantee most of them have a lot to offer Realtors. It's just that 9 times out of 10, most brokers never get to be in the running when it comes to hiring. I want to change that, and I would encourage anyone involved in real estate or thinking about becoming an agent to just check out the site.” says Christian, “We really want this to be a useful, free and fair tool that everyone can use.
