New Directions in PR & Marketing for Artisan Rep Atelier Annex

Atelier Annex is expanding its scope from a gallery and online presence for a selection of New England based artisans to a promotional vehicle for a broader spectrum of artisanal goods. PR & Marketing services are now offered as well as representation to targeted retailers across the US.

To usher in these changes Atelier Annex has hired a new Director, Chicagoan Christine Fugate, who brings many years of organizational and writing skills to the job, as well as a sharp eye for detail and warm professionalism. Christine will be working with our to-the-trade clients, guiding and coordinating PR, marketing and sales as Atelier Annex continues its evolution into a curated lifestyle brand representing heirloom-quality, artisanal home decor.

Atelier Annex has a rich and varied history, starting as a freelance activity of artist Katherine Henry in the mid 80’s to provide administrative services to artists and arts organizations. Eventually, Atelier Annex gave its name to the gallery Katherine began with her husband, Harry Hudson, on the Village Green in Chester, Vermont. When Katherine and Harry opted to return to their studios full time, Atelier Annex was reinvented once again to promote and sell a curated collection of artisanal homewares online.

Curated collections will be launched on a quarterly basis and will reflect a luxury artisanal approach to home decor with inspirations from literature, the arts and seasonal ambiance. Current lines include the silk pillows of Arcadia Park Designs, Haiku Ceramics of Snow on Water and elegantly practical home details from Black Barn Artisans as well as several other accent lines from small artisanal companies.
