Millennial Esports announces a doubleheader Madden Championship Series Madden NFL 17 Tournament on Xbox One and PlayStation 4

LAS VEGAS, NV - 02/21/2017 (PRESS RELEASE JET)

Millennial Esports Corp. (TSX VENTURE: GAME) is making history in the world of competitive video gaming by hosting the first ever EA Sports sanctioned Madden NFL tournament on the West Coast. Seeking to reach a growing eSports audience, the iconic football video game’s creator, Electronic Arts, includes only a dozen third party video game tournament producers in its Madden Championship Series (MCS), placing Millennial Esports among powerhouses such as the Minnesota Vikings and New England Patriots.

While these two events are sanctioned separately, the Millennial Esports Madden NFL 17 Xbox Open and Millennial Esports Madden NFL 17 PlayStation Open will be held simultaneously, inside the new 15,000 square-foot Millennial Esports Arena in Downtown Las Vegas on March 25-26, 2017. With open registration, all amateur and aspiring professional Madden NFL players nationwide, age 18 and above, may enter one or both tournaments for a chance to win a share of the $10,000 prize pool.

Most importantly, winners will earn double MCS points to qualify for the Madden Championship, which is a $500,000 tournament in May 2017, where one player will be crowned Champion of Madden NFL 17. This will be the last chance for players to earn MCS points before the Madden Championship.

Pre-registration is open until 11:59 p.m. on March 23, 2017 and last minute registration will be accepted inside the Millennial Esports Arena on March 25, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. Benefits of pre-registration include a discounted entry fee, knowing your game schedule in advance, and being assigned to matches based on your skill level.

Millennial Esports CEO, Alex Igelman, is excited that Nevada’s first eSports arena has the space and facilities to accommodate such a tournament. “Our new arena holds up to 1100 people and is wired for live casting, hosting players and facilitating tournaments. EA Sports is allocating more resources within the eSports community and we are proud to be able to re-invest into Downtown Las Vegas.”
