Ms. America 2017 Oksana Vovk participates in Laguna Niguel Holiday Parade!

Laguna Niguel, Orange County, California – Ms. America 2017 Oksana Vovk has recently participated in Laguna Niguel Holiday Parade.

The theme for the 2016 parade was “Home for the Holidays”.  The parade included equestrian units, patriotic and inspirational military tributes, world-class athletes, spirit-filled youth groups, classic auto clubs, marching bands, and some of the biggest attractions in the nation.   This City of Laguna Niguel tradition started on May 1, 1999, when the parade was first held to celebrate 10 years of Cityhood. 

“This was one of my favorite appearances so far,” Vovk said. “My Family and I had a great time sharing the spirit of the Holidays with the families of Orange County and all across America.”

Vovk, who was crowned as Ms. America 2017 on September 3, 2016 at the Curtis Theatre in Brea, California, is a busy defense attorney and a single mother of a 19-year-old son with autism.  As a national titleholder, she is determined to make a difference by advancing her platform to fight autism and promote organic living.

“My goal is to raise awareness about my platform and promote Ms. America Pageant, so many more women across the country are involved in community service and giving back to others and define beauty by what it does for the world”.
