Mobiveil CEO Ravi Thummarukudy Will Participate in the Members-Only NVM Express Meeting Tomorrow

SANTA CLARA, CA  - 3/21/2016 (PRESS RELEASE JET)

What: NVM Express Members Meeting 2016 is a gathering of NVMe members to discuss the future direction of the NVM Express standard. Mobiveil will be demonstrating its NVM Express Controller IP [UNEX) and FPGA-based SSD Platform. Those expected to be in attendance include the promoter group companies Cisco, Dell, EMC, HGST, Intel, Micron, Microsoft, NetApp, Oracle, PMC-Sierra, Samsung, SanDisk and Seagate.

Who: As one of the first IP companies providing NVMe IP, Mobiveil has been active in the NVMe standards organization from the beginning. CEO Ravi Thummarukudy will be on hand throughout the two days of proceedings.

Why: The data centers in e-commerce and social media companies, such as Amazon, Facebook, Google, and others need instant access to the huge amounts of data in their hard drive farms. To accelerate access, these data centers have been installing increasing amounts of high-speed NVM flash cache in their servers and between servers and disk farms. The design activity to create boards and chips to implement solutions to meet this demand continues to increase.

Who should attend: System on Chip, ASIC, and FPGA architects, designers, and developers creating solutions for networking, storage, and enterprise applications, who are members of NVM Express Inc.
