Marie de Saint Salvy, VP of Energy for Eiffage, has been named "Top VP of the Year" for 2016-2017 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP)!

Marie de Saint Salvy, VP of Energy for Eiffage, has been named "Top VP of the Year" for 2016-2017 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP). While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, longevity in the field, other affiliations and contributions to their communities. All honorees will be invited to attend the IAOTP’s annual award gala at the end of this year for a night to honor their achievements.

With over 10 years of International Business Development and Operations Management, Marie has certainly proved herself as an accomplished professional and leader in her field. After completing her Masters degree in Economics from Ecole Normale Superieure, an elite institution that has become a platform for many of France's brightest young people to pursue high-level careers in government and academia, she started her career as a risk analyst in Mexico for Schlumberger Oilfield Services. She then began working for the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with postings in Europe and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

For five more years, she worked as chief operations officer of various divisions for DCNS, a French company in charge of shipbuilding for the French Navy and its foreign customers, with projects based in France and in Brazil.

Coming into the role of Director of Energy at Eiffage last summer, Marie has already excelled with the company, closing a solar power plant project in Senegal. Currently working for one of France's 3 main general contractors, she is in charge of the development of energy production in Africa, structuring global offers for Solar, Wind and Hybrid Energy.

She has been widely recognized for her hard work and accomplishments and enjoys new challenges. She was inducted into the Worldwide Association of Female Professionals and named Top VP in Energy also for 2016. Marie also graduated from the Ecole Nationale d’Administration, and holds a Master of International Relations from the Sorbonne.

Looking back Marie attributes her success to her passion, eternal optimism and creative energy. When she is not working she enjoys Mountaineering and Sailing. She speaks fluent French, English, German and Spanish, and is learning Chinese. She is looking forward to what the future has in store and wants to continue to try and make a difference in the world.
