Magno International Names Nelson Bettencourt, III Vice President, Domestic Services

Magno International, LP, a leading Veteran-, Disabled- and Minority-Owned global logistics services provider is pleased to announce that Nelson Bettencourt, III has joined the organization as Vice President, Domestic Services. Mr. Bettencourt brings nearly 30 years of supply chain and forwarding experience with specific expertise within the North American supply chain to Magno. Mr. Bettencourt started his career in airfreight sales in San Francisco, CA ultimately serving in both station and regional management roles. Later he joined EGL as a regional Vice President in Northern California and was promoted to lead EGL’s Western Division, making it the fastest growing and most profitable region in the company. In 2003 Mr. Bettencourt was tasked with developing a Leadership Development Program for EGL focused on diversity to increase opportunity for new and existing talent within the EGL organization. This comprehensive training and development program was a transformational initiative within EGL and became a cornerstone for the identification and mentoring of future leaders in the company. Since 2007, Mr. Bettencourt has served in various executive leadership roles at EGL/CEVA most recently leading domestic products and business development in the United States and Canada.

Nelson is a native of Napa, CA and currently resides in Houston Texas with his wife Darlene. He graduated from the California State University at Sacramento with a BS in Business Management and a concentration in Marketing.
