PORTLAND, OR - 09/13/2016 (PRESS RELEASE JET)

Portland Escape Rooms has been locking up the Portland masses and challenging them to escape since April 2015 with growing success, and with the addition of their 5th room the bar has been set even higher than expected! As if ravenous zombies and a crazed clown in charge of an arcade wasn’t enough to thrill us, they have expanded into new branch of terror that will leave you stunned. Madame Neptune’s Voodoo Curse will be the next step in Portland Escape Rooms Live Escape Rooms, and promises to deliver all the twists and turns of a normal escape room, but with a few added elements that the staff has been working on for months.

For those of you who have enjoyed one of Portland Escape Room’s experiences, you know that until now their four other rooms have all been a single room packed to the gills with amazing puzzles and contraptions. Leveraging a bigger space and forming a crack creative team, Portland Escape Rooms has tackled a new, ambitious project to elevate the escape room experience including improvements in construction, design, concept creation, script, and makeup design.

The team leader and co-creator of Madame Neptune’s Voodoo Curse is resident Puzzle Master Lena Stepp. “I really wanted to design a new room concept that coincides well with our other ‘scary’ rooms but I also wanted to elevate it to another level,” said Stepp. Co-owner Nick Lindert loves the results. “The new creative team has impressed us,” adds Lindert.  “The multi-room element and the elaborate set design generate the eerie atmosphere with an impending dread to it that keeps you on edge.” Because of this intense immersion, Portland Escape Rooms has set the age recommendation for this room at 16+ and has a player limit set at 6 people.  Excited to show off the new creation, Stepp boasts “All in all for our regular clientele this is the new type of room that they are looking for, and for newcomers to escape rooms, it will hook them and leave them wanting more!”

Escape room events can be booked online at http://www.portlandescaperooms.com. With the addition of this new room, Portland Escape Rooms is also a great option for Team Building events as they can simultaneously run up to 30 individuals through their 3 different escape rooms at the Beaverton location.  Contact info@portlandescaperooms.com with any questions.
