It Was A Hole-In-One for Budds' 10th Annual Fundraiser for Cancer.

Budds’ Jaguar Land Rover Feast of the Fairways Charity Classic was another success, celebrating its' 10th Anniversary.

This annual fundraising event has proven yet again to be a win-win for everyone. The golfers enjoyed an amazing day of golf with food stations on the Glen Abbey Golf Course, in Oakville ON, followed by cocktails, a five-course dinner, and dancing under the stars at Glen Abbey's rooftop patio! Not only did the participants enjoy their day of golf, but the art of giving was not lost on them, as Budds' Jaguar Land Rover was able to present a cheque for $25,005 to the Halton Chapter of the Canadian Cancer Society.

“We’re just so thankful for all of the support we have had from the community and our partners over the past decade,” says Terry Budd. “We started this event 10 years ago at Glen Abbey in memory of my father, Stuart Budd (Budd’s co-founder) and we’re going just as strong today as we ever have. I always hoped it would be a long-running fundraiser and we look forward to continuing our support for the Halton Chapter of the Canadian Cancer Society.”

Terry Budd explained that after his father died, the Budd family wanted to create a sustainable event that would help people in the Oakville community dealing with cancer. With almost 200 golfers and their spouses participating this year, it's obvious that this event is an important and worthy cause for the Oakville community.

With several sponsors including; the five on-course restaurants, Scotiabank and Jaguar Land Rover Canada have been with the tournament since its inception as have about 30 to 40 of the golfers and it’s that kind of support that has allowed the tournament to donate in excess of $225,000 to the Halton Chapter of the Canadian Cancer Society to date!
