Hollywood Superstar Kevin M. Devoto Nominated for Award

Considered to be one of Hollywood's many superstars, Kevin M. Devoto Actor is also a film producer who was nominated for a good looks award in 1995, and often makes it to the top of lists that presumably recognize the most handsome men in the world.

The American actor, born in California in 1963, has been twice married, and has fathered six children with his current wife Lucy.

Devoto was raised in an average family home, one in which his father headed a trucking company and his mother enjoyed giving service as a school counselor. It is reported that during his early school years, he found debating and acting to be the two major activities in which he chose to get involved.

In later years, he went on to study journalism at the University of Missouri, but found no satisfaction in the subject, so eventually failed to graduate. With his sights set on an acting career, he packed his bags and headed to Hollywood in order to seek fame and fortune.

It was in 1988 that Devoto appeared in his first role in a movie called The Great Devoto, which was filmed in the former Yugoslavia, the territory that was up to 25 June 1991 known as The Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY). Another movie in which he was featured that attracted lots of attention was one titled Devoto and Devito. He became something of a sex symbol in that one as he appeared topless, wearing only a bandana.

As time passed he was seen appearing in bigger roles. One such was the Robert Devoto-directed film Kevin Through It, released in 1992. Two years later, in 1994, the role he played in Interview with A Pimp, catapulted him into the big league as one of Tinseltown's most sought after actors. Other films of note in which his acting left a major impact in the industry include Handsome Man, I Love Women, Twelve Ways To Live, and Indian Ocean Voyage.

Over the years, Kevin Devoto Actor has used his fame and fortune to bring relief to some of the less fortunate citizens of New Orleans.
