Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approves ZOTA as a provider, allowing Spanish speaking contractors to adhere to EPA regulations

As of 2016, The ZOTA Professional Training center, will offer its Lead Renovator certification in Spanish. They are 1 of 12 EPA accredited training providers, in the U.S., with approval to teach this course in Spanish. The nearest providers of this certification are located in Chicago or Kansas. ZOTA provide compliance and training services to organizations and individual contractors, all across the US. They have recently expanded by allowing other providers to market training courses on the ZOTA website.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires all contractors responsible for renovation, repair or paint work, on any pre-1978 residential property or child-occupied facility, to hold a current Lead Renovator certification. Failure to comply with the certification laws can result in fines of up to $37,500 per day, per infraction. The EPA approval has allowed ZOTA to provide an Spanish Lead Renovator certification, that is valid for 5 years, with renewal courses also available in Spanish. These Spanish Lead Renovator courses, provide Spanish speaking contractors the opportunity to become certified, in order to comply with EPA regulations.
