Corprew Single " Flipped Da Script"

Corprew was born in Newark New Jersey as Lorraine Corprew. Her passion for music was sparked while she listened to her family members and friends sing in the family’s living room… they say imitation is the greatest form of flattery, Lorraine would imitate what she heard in the school playground with her friends.

Her singing ability started to develop when she started attending East Side High School in Newark New Jersey where became a member of the chorus, she started competing in various talent shows and singing background for local artists.

Lorraine discovered her love for singing and the stage became addictive. She then started to fashion her vocal style after some of her favorite artists: Anita baker, Regina Belle, Luther Vandross, Freddie Jackson to name a few.

Her friends and family told her that God had given her the gift of song. Lorraine began to explore that gift by performing in various night clubs throughout the tri-state area doing karaoke, performing with various bands and competing in talent searches.

She has been credited with the following accomplishments: All Star talent search winner in Newark New Jersey and New York City, and she has accrued over 400,000 You Tube views. Her quest for vocal perfection has led her to create her own image, brand and sultry jazzy vocal style that mesmerizes audiences at every performance.

Corprews first single, being released November 15, 2016 on the Rosa International label is “Flipped Da Script”, which focuses on a failed relationship and the consequences that followed. The release will be available on all down load sites.
