Let the sun shine! Clancy Relocation and Logistics sees success in solar powered storage and continues to put solar panels on its warehouse roofs. Solar panels were installed in 2015 in Newtown Connecticut and then 2016 in Patterson, NY. That makes two of the Clancy facilities in the Northeast that have invested in solar technologies. Clancy’s investment in solar is part of long-term company goals of quality and sustainability.

In a recent report delivered to Clancy by entersolar, 2016 performance at Clancy’s Newtown Connecticut warehouse was as follows:

• Greenhouse Gases Avoided: CO2 520,338 lbs/year, CH4 54 lbs/year, N2O 7lbs/year
• Equivalent Autos Removed From Service: 81 per year
• Tree Seedlings Grown for 10 years: 9,989
• Average Homes’ Electrical Use: 57 per year
• Gallons of Gas Saved: 43,373 per year
• 60 Watt Light Bulbs (used 3 hours/day): 13,664 per year
