Christy Ann, Owner & Founder of Christy Ann Cosmetics has been named “Top Professional of the Year in the Cosmetic Industry” for 2017 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP).
While inclusion with the International Association of Top Professionals is an honor in itself, only a few members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, longevity in the field, other affiliations and contributions to their communities. All honorees are invited to attend the IAOTP’s annual award gala at the end of this year for a night to honor their achievements.
With a career in the cosmetics industry spanning close to two decades, Christy Ann has certainly proved herself as an accomplished professional and expert in the field. A self-taught makeup artist, Christy has always had a keen interest in the cosmetic industry. She learned and perfected her skill at a very young age. Through many years of working with a multitude of high end cosmetic brands, she gained a superb skill and developed her own style which is now the force behind Christy Ann Cosmetics.
Christy has been recognized not only locally but internationally for her accomplishments and dedication to the industry. Christy and her sought-after cosmetic group have recently been nominated for Bethpage's Best of Long Island in the bridal makeup category, recipient of the Wedding Wire Couples'/Brides' Choice Award, LI Wedding's Best of the Year, The Knot Best of Long Island award, and now for 2017 inducted as a lifetime member and selected as “Top Professional of the Year in the Cosmetic Industry” by the International Association of Top Professionals.
When she is not in her studio or on location servicing clients, she is fully engaged in fashion, editorial, print, special events and various photo shoots. She is now enjoying educating future artists on both traditional makeup techniques as well as the art of airbrush and lash application.
Christy is truly devoted to her clientele and is now traveling on both coasts to accommodate her most loyal clients. Christy continues to build her brand and make a name for herself in the industry. She is always continuing her makeup education and immerses herself in the current cosmetic trends.
When Christy does not have a brush in hand, she resides at home with her loving family; husband Anthony and son's Anthony Marcus and Leo Michaels.
