Cerini & Associates, LLP Announces Promotions and New Hires

 Cerini & Associates, LLP, Certified Public Accountants, announced that Sean Wilkinson, CPA was promoted to the position of Manager from Audit Supervisor. Wilkinson, who has been with the firm for the last seven years, provides Audit and Consulting services to a variety of nonprofit organizations and mid-sized businesses in the New York Metropolitan area, including: housing agencies, mental health organizations, religious institutions, physician practices, debt consolidation companies, and technology-based enterprises. “Achieving this career milestone is an important accomplishment for Sean. He is a representation of the next generation of talent leading the firm on an ambitious growth plan,” said Matthew Burke, CPA, Partner. Furthermore, within the firm’s nonprofit audit practice area Peter Raimondi was promoted to Staff III Accountant and Eric Gonzalez, CPA was promoted to Staff II Accountant.

Within the rapidly growing Education Audit and Consulting department, Jeffrey Scott, CPA, MBA was promoted to the position of Senior Accountant. Alongside Scott, Nicholle Mezier, CPA, MBA was promoted to Internal Audit Senior Accountant, Lindsey Johansen, CPAwas promoted to Staff III Accountant, Andrew Marafino and Danielle Skura were both promoted to Staff I Accountants. In addition, the department recently hired Chris Maher and James Laino as Staff I Accountants.

Lastly, within the firm’s Business and Tax Advisory department, Kayla Vigorito was promoted to Staff II Accountant.
