BongFlix Original Programming Starts with Mi Amor

In what portends to be another giant leap for Bengali cinema expanding globally, BongFlix today announced the completion of production of the first BongFlix Original Programming movie Mi Amor. Produced in collaboration with the University of Miami’s Department of Cinema and private investors from US and India, Mi Amor is path-breaking on many fronts.

Starring Bollywood stars Parambrata and Raima Sen, Mi Amor is directed by famed US-based Bengali director Suman Ghosh and produced under the supervision of award-winning University of Miami filmmaker Sanjeev Chatterjee. Music direction is by Oscar-nominated Bickram Ghosh and photography by Hollywood’s Ed Talavera. The film, shot entirely in Miami, will be ready for global online release on BongFlix in September 2016.

Mi Amor is a love story that unmasks a clash between the physicality and psychology of a relationship at the brink of implosion.
