Bellmoore Realty sponsors local NE Portland elementary school fishing field trip

In an effort to continually give back to the local community, on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, Bellmoore Realty, a Portland Oregon based real estate company is supporting a Shaver Elementary School 5^th grade class on a field trip to the Rainbow Trout Fishing Farm, in Sandy Oregon.  This event will take place from 9:30am – 12:00pm.

Shaver Elementary is located in the Parkrose neighborhood, in the NE Portland area.  In this 5^th grade class, 95% of the students are on a free / reduced lunch program. This means that students fall at or below the local poverty level.  For many of these students, this will be their first time ever fishing.

On this field trip, students will learn the basics of fishing including: baiting a hook, tying a line, casting and catching a fish. They will also learn how to clean and prepare the fish to take home for dinner.  Bellmoore Realty real estate agents will be donating their time on this day, acting as the fishing guides for these children.
