AquaGuard Foundation Solutions Opens New Marietta, GA Facility

On May 18, 2016, AquaGuard Foundation Solutions held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at their new facility in Marietta as part of the building’s grand opening. The ceremony included 25 special guests, including prominent members of the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce and Marietta City Commissioners, as well as local business owners and members of the local media.

As he spoke to the attendees before cutting the ribbon, AquaGuard President and founder Tom DiGregorio said, “This building represents 21 years of a lot of hard work from lot of great people. We’re very proud of what it is we’ve done, and quite honestly, if you ask anybody in this company, they’ll tell you the same thing – we’re in our infancy stage. We’re just beginning.” DiGregorio went on to thank his employees. “Without our team here, this would just be a building. But when you add in everything our employees do to contribute to our success, this is really a dream come true. Thank you for everything and thank you to everybody.” After the ribbon-cutting ceremony concluded, guests and attendees were served lunch and also got a first-hand look at the new building and its operation.

The new AquaGuard facility covers 46,000 square feet, including 30,000 square feet of warehouse space with 12 bay doors. The building enables the company to serve its 75-mile customer radius with increased efficiency and customer service. The company is now able to handle more inventory, use more vehicles, and experience faster loading and dispatching times.

AquaGuard began building the new facility in August, 2014, using American Commercial Builders LLC as the main construction contractor. The new building also helps maintain an exciting company culture and boosts camaraderie. It features an open design plan in the office area, and boasts a modern and attractive landscaped outdoor patio and picnic area, perfect for hosting company and team events. AquaGuard has also added approximately 20 new employees since the opening of the building, bringing their total number of employees to 135. And they are looking to add more. The firm estimates they will have 160 employees by the end of 2016.

About the building, DiGregorio added, “This is the next step in our 22-year history to take our company to yet another level by providing a building and a culture that will best serve ourselves and our customers. This building will help us better serve the greater Atlanta and north Georgia areas.
