NAPERVILLE, IL - 07/01/2016 (PRESS RELEASE JET)

Alpha in a Catholic Context is happy to announce the appointment of Jeff Cavins to their executive board, joining a select group of Catholic leaders who help to oversee and guide the work of Alpha in a Catholic Context across the US.

Meet Jeff Cavins

As a recognized public speaker and Bible teacher, Jeff communicates the Catholic faith at a level that everyone can understand. He is the creator of Great Adventure Bible Study series, founding host of EWTN’s weekly program “Life on the Rock” and Relevant Radio’s daily show, “Morning Air.” He is author of several books including his newest, When You Suffer: Biblical Keys for Hope and Understanding. Jeff received an M.A. in theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville. He is also a Fellow of the Augustine Institute in Denver and the St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology in Steubenville.

Jeff Cavins says of Alpha:  “When anyone sets out on a journey, the beginning is crucial as it sets the tone and charts the course before them. If anyone wants to follow Christ and enter into His mission, they must clearly understand what they are embarking on. Alpha sets the course and clearly spells out what is required to follow the Son of God. There is no greater adventure in life.”

Mr. Cavins brings significant expertise to the Alpha in a Catholic Context Board, and we are grateful for his willingness to share his gifts with our endeavors.
