Alexander Gabriel 3d Printed Watch Company Launches Kickstarter Campaign

PALM BAY, FL - 4/8/2016 (PRESS RELEASE JET) -- Alexander Gabriel Watch Company, Inc., a locally-made watch company, has launched it's Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for it's STEM related watch company.  The company has developed key partnerships with XLN Technologies, a company that sells and services electronics, and the Space Coast Fablab, a Floridanonprofit dedicated to helping individuals grow through courses and project-based learning. Alexander Gabriel Watch Company, Inc. is also partnering with the entire engineering department at Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida.

Each of the company's timepieces are 3D printed in various special composites and hand-assembled locally with Swiss mechanical movements, sapphire crystal and custom handmade straps right on the Space Coast of Florida. All of the watch straps are hand-cut leather, hand-dyed and hand-stitched by Polito Custom Straps.

The company aims to make their watches as unique as their customers. Customers can choose the color leather and stitching they desire for their new watch as well as the dial and the Swiss Mechanical Movement of their choice. In addition, Alexander Gabriel Watch Company, Inc. will 3D print the watch box for each order and provide a name or special inscription on the box.

After researching and not quite finding what he was seeking, Trent had an inspirational thought about designing and producing custom watches while taking care of his young son in the middle of the night. He wanted a watch case to be crafted strong, simple and bold. And the watch itself to celebrate the lost art of taking time to do things right, a homage to the craftsmen who put the soul into the handmade generation's message of "It takes time to make time."
